Detailed Product Description

 The machine is for performing the two operations of rounding the spine of a book block and forming the shoulders for the boards. The sewn and spine-glued book block is places on the conveyor belt, the pusher pushes the book block along and arrives over  a forming bar, where it is gripped between facing follers revolving in opposite directions while the bar is pushed up against the fore edge. The two sides of the book block are dragged downwards while the middle is being pushed up,  forming an arc approximately to pre-setted degree. The book block is gripped between jaws that serve the same function as the backing boards in hand backing, and a rocker above swings in an arc against the spine, finishing off the rounding and froming the shoulders. The rounded an dbacked book block is delivered by the conveyor belt.

     The machine is equippted with reler indicator, easy for adjustment. The machine is necessary equimment for making hard cover books.
